No Retreat No Surrender
Jason Stillwell (Kurt McKinney), a Bruce Lee fan from Los Angeles is beaten in and out of the ring and disgraced on numerous occassions. When his family relocates to Seattle for a quieter life, his problems accompany him. Socially embarrassed by his girlfriend's brother, the US National full-contact Karate champion and drawn reluctantly into an unjust criminal circle, Jason needs a mentor. In a moment of despair, he encounters the ghost of Lee and trains under his direction. Jason then must use his newly acquired skills to save his honour and quash a Seattle crime syndicate, whose top martial artist is the deadly Ivan (Jean-Claude Van Damme).
No Retreat No Surrender 2 - Raging Thunder
Scott Wylde flies to Thailand, for the first time, to meet his Thai-Vietnamese fiancee-to-be. However, in a cruel twist of fate she is abducted and he lands in jail charged with murdering her family. Time is running out for Scott as he evades and dodges the cops, Khmer resistance fighters and a sadistic Soviet colonel. The latter holds the key to his girlfriend's whereabouts and inevitably the two face off; the Soviet "bear" and the American "eagle" locked in mortal combat. The outcome becomes far more shocking than either of the combatants had anticipated!
No Retreat No Surrender 3 - Blood Brothers
John Alexander, recently retired from the CIA has a problem - two sons who, like oil and water, just can't get along with each other. The love is there but there's no mutual respect. When John is brutally murdered by an international terrorist, Franco, the rift between the boys becomes even wider; Will blames the Agency and his brother Casey, also an agent, for his father's death. Both brothers make seperate plans for avengance; Will finds his way into the heart of the terrorist stronghold and plots from within while Casey uses his CIA contacts to form the sting. When Franco plots to assasinate the President of the United States, it's up to the Alexander brothers to resolve their differences, stop the attack and bring justice to bear.
No Retreat No Surrender 4 - King Of The Kickboxers
Kahn is a heavy weight kick-box champion, who often kills his opponents in front of the running camera, to sell it on video tape. Jake had to witness once how his brother was killed by him, and now has come for revenge. But first he has to improve his fighting skills; he asks Phang, the only person in the whole world who ever had Khan down on his back, to train him until he is a match for him.
No Retreat No Surrender 5 - American Shaolin
After being humiliated in the ring by a dirty kickboxer who pulled down his shorts and then hit him, a martial arts master decides to travel to China and enter a monastery where he may learn the Shaolin form of fighting. The film then veers into "Karate Kid" territory where the novice humiliates himself at every turn, is tolerated as a foreigner, and still comes out a champion. The monastery teaches non-violence, but everyone knows that sooner or later the student will catch up with the bad guy. |
